|||...in time we hate that which we often fear...|||
blogging at dad's house using ah di's pc. dar is busy lacquering. it started off as compulsory lacquering of the upstairs living room parquet. a follow-up from the previous couple of weeks back labouring on the revamp of the 2nd living room.
and i think he got addicted to it and started lacquering all the wooden things he sees in the house like the wooden pillars in the backyard kitchen, garden chairs and what nots. haha...
regan is busy playing his new sony psp - play station portable, that my dad just got for him. its a freaking near $600 (plus 3 games). *gasp* lucky him!
going for dinner at the palm beach located in one fullerton. haven't been there. hope its not going to be frightfully expensive. we are celebrating ah di's birthday early.
"cal, you must THANK ME lor actually!" hee... because cal can't come over our house so i bet she must be wanting to celebrate ah di's special day with him outside so i push forward our celebrations for him instead. haven't got a cake though i meant to get one from secret receipe.
heard the chocolate banana cake is heavenly. hmmm, maybe monday night i guess?
i've bought my chinese new year's clothes 'seven seven eight eight'. there's 3 days this year. thinking of getting another top. i've got 1 dress, 1 top, 1 suit + inner top, 1 cardigan and 2 pairs of shoes (one for 'kai kai' and one for office). my list is not complete still though.
plus still got regan's and dar's. =P
i'm not normally so enthusiastic about chinese new year. really. this year i wonder what's wrong with me. i hate chinese new year in fact because of all the money i must spend. i'm going all wrong since my christmas spirit went on a holiday and now my chinese new year virus is all acting up.
changed my new notes already somemore. gosh! i'm all raring to 'pai nian' lor. but this year i'm not to go a lot of places. just wanna rest more. =)
anyways, the photos were taken when i went to return some LONG long LONG overdue books. haven't go pay the fine yet. it should be in double digits. *bleahz*
and it was the very first time i saw os*m's i-g*llop. bad bad bad idea. i wonder which idiot in the company thought of it. the machine is freaking laughable. i saw many kids on the machines having fun but the target consumers are definitely not them.
i guess the promoters given up hope on it as they were like standing miles away pretending to be tupperw*re promoters instead. haha... no la, but they just let the kids be. i don't even see their parents anywhere so that the promoters can at least make a sales pitch to the parents to try to sell it.
then i went home and saw the advertisement for the very first time on tv as well. ho ho ho... what a joke!
well, they were trying to be innovative but why galloping? i think the sales chart is going to be a kamikaze straight!
